6 Minute 60 YEAR OLD At Home Arms Workout With Dumbbells!

For you men over 60, I have a great at home arms workout with dumbbells for you, and it will only take you 6 minutes. This workout is going to be a little different from the normal because we are going to do timed sets instead of reps. We are going to do 4 different exercises, 2 for biceps and 2 for triceps. We are going to do 90 seconds of each exercise. Let’s get started with the exercises in this 6 minute 60 year old at home arms workout with dumbbells.

Exercise #1: ALTERNATING BICEP CURLS. Keep your back straight and your chest out. Try to keep your elbow in a fixed position, so that you are just using your biceps to bring the dumbbells up. As you are bringing one dumbbell down, bring the other one up. Do this for 90 seconds without any rest.

Exercise #2: TRICEP KICKBACKS. Stand with your feet shoulder width apart, hinge at the hip and bend at the waist, and put a slight bend in your knees. Pull your arm up with your elbow above your back, and you are going to drive the dumbbell back initiating the movement at the elbow. Squeeze the tricep at the top of the extension, and slowly bring the weight back down. Again, do this for 90 seconds without any rest.

Exercise #3: HAMMER CURLS. Instead of turning your hand in when you curl, keep the dumbbells facing sideways throughout the whole range of motion. Do both arms at the same time for this exercise, do not alternate. Utilize slow and controlled movements, and this will also work your forearms as well. Do this for 90 seconds without rest.

Exercise #4: LYING TRICEP EXTENSIONS. Lay flat on your back, and start with the dumbbells above your head. Keep your arms in the same position, and initiate the movement at the elbow. Focus on using your triceps to bring the weight back up to the starting position, and squeeze your triceps at the top of the movement.
